What you can do

01

Multi-warehouse, location-level tracking

Track stock across multiple godowns, and within each godown, down to the shelf or bin level. Know not just how much stock you have, but exactly where it is sitting. Warehouse > shelf > item hierarchy keeps things organized.

02

Weighted Average Cost auto-calculation

Every time you purchase or produce an item, ORENX recalculates its weighted average cost automatically. Your stock valuation is always accurate without manual spreadsheet work.

03

Stock ledger with full history

Every stock movement is recorded in the stock ledger: purchases, sales, transfers, manufacturing consumption, and adjustments. See the complete story of any item, from opening balance to current stock.

04

Stock audit and reconciliation

Run physical stock audits and compare actual counts against system records. Record discrepancies, make adjustments, and keep your books matching what is actually on the shelf.

05

Reorder level alerts

Set minimum stock levels for each item. When stock falls below the reorder point, ORENX alerts you so you can place a purchase order before you run out. No more stockouts from forgetting to reorder.

06

Barcode scanning

Scan barcodes to quickly find items, record stock movements, and speed up warehouse operations. Works with your phone camera or a dedicated barcode scanner.

07

Inter-warehouse transfers

Move stock between godowns with a transfer document. Stock is deducted from the source warehouse and added to the destination. The transfer is recorded in both stock ledgers for a clean audit trail.

08

Opening balance import

Getting started? Import your existing stock data into ORENX. Upload item quantities, costs, and warehouse locations so you can begin with accurate numbers from day one.

How it works

1

Set up your warehouses and locations

Create your godowns and define locations within them (shelves, bins, racks). Set up the structure that matches how your physical warehouse is organized.

2

Import or enter opening stock

Upload your existing inventory with quantities, costs, and locations. Or enter items manually. ORENX uses this as the starting point for all future tracking.

3

Set reorder levels

For each item, define the minimum stock level that triggers a reorder alert. Set different levels per warehouse if needed. ORENX will notify you when stock dips below the threshold.

4

Stock moves automatically with documents

When you create a GRN (purchase), delivery challan (sale), or work order (manufacturing), stock levels update automatically. No need to manually adjust inventory for routine transactions.

5

Audit and reconcile periodically

Run physical stock counts and compare them against system records. Record any discrepancies and make adjustments. Your stock ledger captures every change with a reason.

Why it matters

No more stock surprises

Real-time stock levels mean you always know what you have. No more discovering you are out of a critical item when a customer order comes in, or finding excess stock gathering dust.

Accurate costing without spreadsheets

Weighted average cost is calculated automatically with every purchase. Your stock valuation is always current and correct, which means your profit margins are accurate too.

Find anything in seconds

Location-level tracking tells you exactly which shelf or bin an item is on. Barcode scanning makes warehouse operations faster. No more searching through an entire godown for a single item.

Complete audit trail

Every stock movement is linked to a document: a purchase GRN, a sales challan, a transfer, or an adjustment. If the numbers ever look off, you can trace exactly what happened and when.

Prevent stockouts and overstocking

Reorder alerts ensure you restock before running out. Stock history helps you understand demand patterns. Spend less on carrying costs while keeping enough stock to serve your customers.
